How much does it cost to open a Salad Creations restaurant?

The projected development cost is between $160,000 and $426,500.

Why is there a wide range of development cost?

The range of development cost is due primarily to varying site conditions and square footage. Many locations available have previously been used as restaurant sites and have necessary infrastructure in place such as plumbing, electrical service, drop ceilings, etc. This existing infrastructure reduces development cost.

Does Salad Creations offer direct financing?

We can provide third-party financing to qualified candidates for your furniture, fixtures, equipment and sign, as well as leasehold improvements for new and existing Salad Creations stores, but we do not offer direct financing.

Can I find my own location or will Salad Creations find one for me?

Salad Creations franchisees identify proposed locations and submit their requests to Salad Creations for approval.

Once you have a personal meeting with a member of our franchise staff, we will be happy to provide you with a copy of the franchise agreement and Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (UFOC). Our UFOC is the only document you should refer to when deciding whether to accept our offer.

Salad Creations has a top-quality training program, which combines technical and behavioral education.

Does Salad Creations offer multi-unit franchise opportunities?

Yes, Salad Creations offers both single and multi-unit franchises.

How much can I expect to earn?

Your earnings capability will depend on a number of factors, such as your location, the amount of time you spend in your store, your business and retail acumen, as well as market conditions. Naturally, as in any business venture, there is no guarantee of your success or profitability. We do, however give you the benefit of a well-organized system and a concept refined by our many years of experience.

Does Salad Creations require franchise unit contributions to any form of a market fund?

Yes. Salad Creations currently requires a contribution of 3% of gross sales to an advertising production fund.

How does the Salad Creations advertising production fund work?

The sole purpose of the advertising production fund is to cover development of advertising programs available to every Salad Creations unit in good standing. A committee of franchisee and company representatives administers this fund.

What is the term of the franchising agreement?

The initial term is ten years, after which the agreement may be renewed for additional ten-year terms. Renewal is subject to our approval, current franchise terms and conditions, and renewal fees, which are less than the initial franchise fee.

Does the Salad Creations franchise program include a royalty fee?

The Salad Creations royalty fee is 6% of gross sales.

Will Salad Creations charge an initial franchise fee?

The Salad Creations initial franchise fee is $25,000 per unit.

Can I sell my Salad Creations franchise?

Yes. Like any other business, you can sell your store to a buyer approved by the company. There is a transfer fee for administrative, legal and training expenses to effect the transfer.
