Our Salad Chef Selection series identifies applicants most likely to excel as Salad Chefs. The 3 part Salad Chef Selection series includes: Salad Chef Questionnaire, Salad Chef Simulation, Salad Chef Behavioral Interview.

Salad Chef Profile and Manager Profile are valuable developmental tools. Each profile contains a unique combination of 40 behaviors essential for success. Team members are rewarded for continous development of behavioral strengths.

Our “Food for Thought” professional development series includes book summaries, practical “how to” tips, and relevant industry news. “Food for Thought” is published regularly and distributed to all franchisees.

Operations

Our operational component of training is extensive and intensive. Team members learn essential information about food service, guest service, health and safety, marketing and advertising, merchandising, purchasing and inventory control.

S.A.L.A.D.S. is a 6 step process to help team members exceed guest expectations. Example: “Smile with Heart” is a reminder to start guest service with a sincere smile.

Our Salad University faculty members are passionate professionals with a wealth of knowledge in the fields of business, food service and hospitality, and psychology. Salad Creations is dedicated to lifelong learning for all.

Support

We will assist you step-by-step to cultivate your business.

Once a site has been selected, our initial and ongoing support covers build-out, the point-of-sales system, inventory, full operational training and grand opening preparation.

Our Salad Creations team and your area developer will be at your location to assist you with your store set up, on-site training, and opening. We will continue to support you throughout your Salad Creations franchise ownership.

Discovery Day

Once you have been through the application process and have been qualified by a Salad Creations representative, we will invite you to join us for a Discovery Day at Salad Creations Corporate Headquarters in Toronto, On.

We use this day to give you an opportunity to get to know the people you will be working with in this exciting business. You will meet the officers and staff, discover the company’s history, find out about the Salad Creations concept and how it evolved, and what we expect for the future.

We will discuss in detail:

• The Salad Creations mission
• Our competitive edge in the marketplace, buying power and exclusive products
• How to find a great location
• Investment and financing available
• Training and ongoing support
• Our advertising/marketing strategy for the present and the future
